I don’t know about you, but sometimes when I pass Micky D’s….I have to fight the urge to stop because I want one of those big mac’s.
What I know though is that its not so much the big mac burger, but McDonald’s special sauce that I want. Sweet, tangy, and creamy sauce.
Everyone says its just thousand island dressing, well we all know darn well that its not. Its SO MUCH more than that, a secret sauce more like it.
Where’s all my saucy people at? Yeah, I know your out there and just like me you like to have sauce on things.
Who wants to eat their burger or fries dry? Well, other than my teenager, but he’s a little weirdo. He will even eat dry cereal with a spoon….yeah we wont go there.
My daughter on the other hand, sauce machine just like her mama. We love a good dipping sauce, or the perfect condiment for our favorite burger.
BUT, with a great, delicious sauce comes a gazillion calories.
There is no challenge I enjoy more than creating my favorite sauce recipes at home where I can load up on it and not feel guilty at all about those hidden calories adding up.
SO, that’s when I arose to the occasion and decided why not? Let’s create our own healthy big mac sauce. And there we have it friends, another yummy recipe born.
This is the real deal, another 5 star rating by my 3 year old critic.
