Parmesan Crusted Chicken Tenders (Air Fryer Recipe)

These crispy, delicious parmesan crusted chicken tenders are so easy to make, they’ll be ready to serve your whole family in 20 minutes. This is definitely one of my go to easy chicken recipes that the entire family loves and always asks for seconds.

Cooking these lil’ babies in the air fryer gives you the crispy, golden brown chicken strips without adding all those extra carbs of a bread crumb mixture. YEAH! Ya heard me, no bread crumbs.

This is healthy chicken tenderloin recipe is so simple to throw together, even the prep time is extremely minimal, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

How To Make Yummy Parmesan Crusted Chicken Tenders in the Air Fryer

Ingredients You’ll Need For This Healthy Recipe:

  • 1lb of Chicken Tenderloins or Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast cut into strips
  • Olive Oil
  • Minced Garlic; You may also use garlic powder
  • Parmesan Cheese; Shredded
  • Oregano
  • Parsley Flakes
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • Optional: Add some red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper for some added spice

Instructions On How To Make This Easy Air Fryer Recipe:

Step 1

Grab the chicken and place in a large mixing bowl, or a large Ziplock bag. Dump the olive oil into the bowl or bag and toss the chicken around to coat evenly. 

Note – If you do not have chicken tenderloins, cut up a chicken breast and slice into strips to create your chicken pieces.

Step 2 

Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees.

Step 3

Mix the remaining ingredients together and dump into the bowl or bag. Mix around the parmesan mixture with the chicken until the chicken looks coated evenly. 

Make sure to coat the chicken tenderloins well before placing into the air fryer.

Step 4

Spray the air fryer basket or trays with a nonstick spray and place the chicken tenderloins in the air fryer evenly in a single layer. Cook for 12-14 minutes flipping over half way through.

Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees with a meat thermometer. 

Make your favorite side dish such as roasted veggies or a side salad, and enjoy!!
